Principal Harpist, China National Opera House (2024–Present)
Holder of Bachelor's, Master's, and Konzertexamen degrees in Harp Performance from Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts. Graduated with highest distinction, earning full marks (1.0) in both Master’s and Doctoral-level studies.
Formerly served with the Duisburg Philharmonic Orchestra and Deutsche Oper am Rhein (A-level orchestra).

Performance Experience
She has performed internationally in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Macau, South Korea, Japan, St. Petersburg, Germany, Italy, France, Sweden, the United States, and other regions.
In Frankfurt, she appeared as a soloist at the Alte Oper Frankfurt in the themed concert Nicht nur Klavier.
As an orchestral harpist, she has collaborated with ensembles including the Offenbach Carol Symphony Orchestra, Wiesbaden Bach Orchestra, and Göttingen Symphony Orchestra.
Charity & Community Engagement
In Germany, Wang Nan regularly presents charity concerts in nursing homes, churches, and primary schools.

Invited in 2022 to record Professor Gerd Putscheff’s CD Los Vientos.
Teaching Experience
As an educator, she achieved full marks in pedagogical practicum courses at the conservatory level. Her students have been admitted to German conservatories for undergraduate harp studies and have won gold prizes in competitions including the Singapore Harp Competition and Cross-Strait Harp Competition.
Early Training & Education
Wang Nan began studying piano at the age of five, building a strong musical foundation from an early age. She later majored in harp and minored in piano at an affiliated conservatory middle school. During her secondary studies, she successfully presented two solo harp recitals and won awards in international competitions.
She also served as Principal Harpist of her conservatory orchestra, chamber orchestra, and the youth orchestra of the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra.
In 2017, she was admitted to Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts for undergraduate study, where she studied with renowned French harp professor and Principal Harpist of the Frankfurt Opera, Françoise Verherve.
In 2023, she was admitted unanimously to pursue the Konzertexamen (highest solo performance diploma / doctoral-level artist diploma) in Harp Performance at the same institution.
